Aya Ahn is a Japanese immigrant to the United States and a successful businesswoman in San Francisco. She is the owner of Bob's Donuts, a small 50-year-old donut shop that has become one of the city's most frequented tourist attractions. The shop is open 24 hours per day and has become a sort of community center and place of gathering for residents and newcomers. Nearly any time of the day you pass by Bob's Donuts, you see a long line of hungry people waiting for a famed donut from Aya's kitchen.
